Several changes are taking place to the Lovedale Long Lunch format for 2012.

Following discussions with the Office for Liquor, Gaming and Racing (OLGR) and the NSW Licensing Police, a number of changes are being implemented for the LLL 2012. A summary of some of these is listed below:

There will be no free tastings. Your Lovedale Long Lunch package will include 5 tasting tokens for redemption. Additional tokens can be purchased on the day. $5 will purchase 5 tokens.

Wine will be avaiable for purchase by the glass as well as by the bottle.

There will be no complimentary glass of wine with meals. 5 tokens can be redeemed for a glass of wine to accompany your meal.

2 main meals are to be provided with all pre-booked tickets. It is assumed that the majority of pre- bookings are bus groups and therefore will be attending the event for the whole day. By providing two meals with each package we are abiding by Responsible Service of Alcohol provisions. We apologise for any inconvenience caused, and would like to point out that OLGR take the view that it is for the majority that the rules need to be set.

Wrist bands will be provided on entry to the event and production of your Lovedale Long Lunch package. Unruly or drunken behaviour may result in the confiscation of wrist bands, and subsequent refusal of entry to any venue involved in the Lovedale Long Lunch.

Wine bottles will be sold for consumption either on or off premise. Wine bought for consumption on the premises is not to be taken off the premises. Wine purchased for sale to be taken off the premises will not be allowed to be taken into any of the premises, and must remain in your vehicle.

Patrons arriving showing signs of intoxication may be refused entry to the event by the Police and Security Staff servicing the event.

The Lovedale Long Lunch Tasting Goblets will be of high grade polycarbonate manufacture. No wine will be served in previous Lovedale Long Lunch glasses.

If we did not abide by the above changes we would not have been granted a license to conduct the event!

NO BYO FOOD OR ALCOHOL

RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL: In compliance with the laws of responsible serving of alcohol, wine will not be served to intoxicated guests. Drunk or disorderly patrons will not be permitted to remain on the premises.
